Around 1906, Harry Houdini captivated his audience with his escape acts. At that time, J.F. Schwarzlose's Trance was already in existence. Even today, the perfume enthralls with its magical notes of Turkish rose, rose absolute, and precious oud. Hypnotic yet a sensory intoxication, movingly intense and ambiguous. The fragrance reflects Berlin's ambivalence. Modernity and tradition, man or woman, like the transformation from innocence to sin.
