VÉRONIQUE NYBERG

Perfumer Véronique Nyberg, inspired by Lutz Herrmann's passion for the J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin brand, felt a desire to give these 19th-century fragrances a modern "twist" upon discovering them. This challenge ignited her creative passion.

Véronique Nyberg - "The Nose"

Véronique fell in love at first sight with the J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin brand, which she discovered through Lutz Herrmann. Véronique generally finds her inspiration in various ways: in the mysterious and enigmatic world of molecules, in contemporary and modern art, and in history and stories.

The challenge of working for the J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin brand, this glorious and charming Sleeping Beauty of the 19th century, awakened the desire to connect the world of yesterday and today, Berlin's aura with the world.

Véronique and Berlin

For Véronique, Berlin embodies the spirit of artistic energy and boundless creativity. As she gradually discovered the brand's roots, she perceived its contemporary modernity and timeless spirit. Thus, she chose these qualities: to bottle the energy of Berlin, its past and present, using the most precious natural fragrances that radiate extravagantly, powerfully, and brilliantly. She combined them in such a way that an exquisite creative alliance – luxurious yet refined – emerged as a tribute to the beauty of Berlin.

LUTZ HERRMANN

Lutz Herrmann, Creative Director of J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin, discovered the Berlin brand J.F. Schwarzlose Söhne more than ten years ago. As a successful designer of perfume bottles, he is considered an expert in perfumery and was so impressed by the elegant simplicity of this traditional Berlin brand that he delved deeper into his research. The eventful history and the early modernity of the German perfume manufacturer quickly convinced the art-historically versed creative to draw up a plan - together with two partners, he began to set everything in motion to revive this fine brand as J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin.
